Is US Fish & Wildlife waiting on ground hog day to get concerned about the environmentally-threatening sewer grinder pump invasion of Big Pine Key and the islands below?

If there is not a new daily post at this website, there probably is one at, which you should be able to reach daily by clicking on that link. New posts usually are up by noon. I’m living in Key West presently, running for mayor again, strolling more accurately, and that’s where much of the action for me is currently.

From me yesterday to Banks Prevatt, President of non-profit Dump the Pumps, Inc. ( and Deer Ed, who publishes ‘s popular daily (except Saturday) whine and praise forum:

B and Banks, my grinder pump war post today (at sits underneath the Key West post in what I just sent to my email contacts. The grinder pump post contains the text of two emails I sent to Lawyer Hartsell, one last night, the other this morning after I was banged in a dream last night for not taking it far enough in the first email. Not sure I even yet that I took it far enough. I feel like I’m in a grinder pump.

Hell, here’s the grinder pump post, so you don’t have to go somewhere to find it:

Mr. Prevatt,

Attached is my response to your letter. I do not have an address for you so I was only able to mail via email. Please let me know if I can provide any additional assistance. Thank you.

Me to Banks, copy to Nancy:

Hi, Banks –

Thanks for forwarding this. I’m glad to learn Nancy is concerned, but your comments at Sunday’s meeting sounded like USF&W in Vero Beach is not concerned (understatement). Even as FKAA moves ahead ASAP sewering the islands below Big Pine and, no doubt, has the same game plan for Big Pine.

If I can work with Nancy’s letter, I will use it in a post tomorrow at, perhaps a sequel to today’s post there which was a bundle of joy. Or, if you can copy Nancy’s on your end, Banks, and drop it into the body of an email for me, that will make it easier for me and my fossil equipment.

Apologies, Nancy, for lumping you into the bad people group in today’s post. I don’t know how much you know about grinder pump stuff, but [if] it isn’t much, I’m sure Banks is more than happy to tell you what all he knows, which might take a while.

Banks to me:

Nancy’s letter is attached again. It is a pdf and probably done on a mac. I am not able to copy, past and control it at all.

She copied the world, so I don’t see a problem with using it.

Still no response from USF&W to emails.

I replied to Banks:

Maybe they are waiting on ground hog day?

head up ass

Nancy’s letter is two pages. I saved each page as a pic and when I tried to drop the pics into today’s post, what showed up were links to each page of her letter.

Nancy 1

Nancy 2

When I clicked on the links in today’s post at, the letter’s pages appeared. Perhaps you will get the same result.

Banks wrote back that the links worked on his end.
